LONGWOOD BC host Lower Hopton tonight in a key local derby in the Manchester Premier League.

Both teams will be looking for derby day success after having mixed results in the quality league.

A fortnight ago Roger Crowther’s (right) Longwood side recorded their first victory of the season (9-6) over St Helens-based British Plate where Trevor Holmes was the match-winner returning a scorecard of 21-5.

But the following week, the Dodlee Lane-based side lost 12-1.5 at Richmond, Liverpool.
