EIGHT players will battle it out in the final of the Dearne and Don Merit.

This year's event, which is sponsored by Holme Valley Bathroom Designs, takes place on Wednesday, June 6 (6.30).

There is £100 up for grabs to the winner and a dress code will be enforced.

Yorkshire Merit champion Graeme Wilson lost in the quarters to Graham Hickey, who was beaten by Glyn Cookson in the semis.
