PAUL SIGSWORTH achieved a sought-after double after victory in the Mirfield and District Bowling Association’s Individual Merit.

The Netherton Conservative Club’s star bowler added to his success in the Huddersfield Merit last month with a 21-10 victory against Jon Edmondson, of Brighouse Sports, at Cleckheaton Sports.

In the semi-finals Sigsworth beat Mark Regan, of Brighouse Sports, 21-10 and Edmondson beat Peter Jagger, of Spen Victoria, 21-9.
