Milnsbridge Bowling Club B team won Division V of the Elland League.
The team, which consists of both men and women, won 14 of their 16 games, losing only twice.
Milnsbridge’s points total was 119, well ahead of the second-places side on 96 – giving them a 23-point victory.
Also successful from the team was Dougie Hamilton, who was the overall average winner of the division. He won all his games with an average of 9.50.
The team have played with a nucleus of eight bowlers, all over pension age, and they are rightly very proud to have won the title.
