Willy Langner, from Almondbury Lib, is the new name on the Veterans Over 70s trophy, beating David Sykes from Brockholes in the final.
David Sykes had long hard games in the quarter-finals and semi-finals, beating Frank Greenwood and Roy Sutton.
And he was 13-8 up in the final, but a run of five ends without scoring put Langner in front and he went on to win 21-17.
Alan Stephenson thanked Golcar Lib for hosting the event and all the people who officiated.
David Howroyd presented the prizes on behalf of Golcar Lib and Carlsberg UK, who sponsored the competition.
