Yorkshire juniors stamped their authority on the county championship with an emphatic 166-point victory against red rose rivals Lancashire.

In fact, such was Yorkshire’s dominance, that there was just one loser only at home and just two away at Chorley.

There were some very good games at Kirkheaton CBC and man-of-the-match Ashton Allert shone through.

He played extremely well and did not give his opponent much room to get in.

The juniors’ next match is against South Yorkshire who have also won their two games and so this match could prove a sterner test.
