HUDDERSFIELD trio Tyrone Nurse, Burt Warren and Josh Warrington all maintained their 100% records in front of their home crowd last night.
Highly-rated 21-year-old Nurse recovered from a second-round knockdown against Sheffield’s Adam Kelly to take a points decision over the six-round light-welterweight contest.
He now has 12 straight pro wins while Warren, 22, notched his fourth at middleweight with a stoppage of Nottingham’s Matt Scrivens after two minutes and 35 seconds of round two.
Super-bantamweight Warrington, 21, beat Gary McDernid of Leeds on points over four rounds for a third pro success.
All the Linthwaite-trained lads impressed and Nurse said: "I’m a bit disappointed to have been ‘dropped’ in Huddersfield of all places, but I didn’t lose my composure.
"I got back into it and earned my 12th win and it might have done me some good (the knockdown) because a few people might want to match up with me now!"
Warren said: "I’m happy with my win although I thought the referee call the stoppage too soon. We could have gone on and into the next round."
