YORKSHIRE are in a four-way battle with Lancashire, Kent and Cheshire in the race for the inter-county darts title.

The men’s team face a crucial final clash of the campaign against their roses rivals this weekend, when Kent play Cornwall and Cheshire take on Hampshire.

Yorkshire could only draw 6-6 against Hampshire in their last match with Huddersfield trio of John Haigh, Trevor Manning and Jamie Wilson all winning with an 80-plus average.

In the men’s B team, Peter Jacques won as the team clinched a 7-5 success.

In the ladies, the A team were 5-1 victors and the B team 4-2.
