Brothers proud
GAELIC FOOTBALL: Brothers Pearse are very proud to have five Under 14s representing County Yorkshire in The 29th Coca-Cola GAA Feile Peil na nOg finals, which take place in County Derry this weekend. The event has 160 Under 14 teams taking part, including numerous visiting teams, along with their mentors, parents and family members – all staying at one of the 38 Gaelic football clubs in Derry. Yorkshire’s first game is at noon today against their host club Drumsurn. Brothers Pearse senior player and Yorkshire team mentor Chris Cassidy said: “All the lads have been training hard, and hopefully have a successful weekend.” Tonight the lads from Huddersfield will join up with their teammates from across Yorkshire to take part in the opening parade. Yorkshire will be playing in the Boys Division 5 Group D, and all results can be followed at www.feiledhoire2010.ie
