Bradley Hall are the team to beat having amassed the most points so far this season in the Lawrence Batley Seniors’ League.

A 6-2 home win against Silkstone brought their points tally to 37, more than any other team. They now head Section A by a whopping 11 points.

In Section B, Woodsome Hall notched up a 8-0 whitewashing of Meltham to take them within two points of leaders Wortley, who are on 36.

Three-time winners of the competition Huddersfield are making sure they don’t peak too early.

Currently lying comfortably in second place with 28 points in Section C – three behind leaders Blackley – they had an emphatic 7-1 home win against Todmorden.

Outlane’s home whitewashing of Queensbury places them second in Section D, a point behind South Leeds on 33.

Other notable results in the latest round of matches were Ogden’s whitewashing of their Halifax rivals West End, with Hanging Heaton achieving a similar feat against Oldham.
