Crow Nest Park held their annual presentation night with the year’s prizes being award.
The evening, organised by club captain Shaun Higgins and vice-captain John Cryer, was attended 110 members, partners and guests.
Entertainment was provided by Adam Daniel and diners were also entertained by table magician DF Magic.
The majority of major trophy winners were present to receive their trophies and the highlight of the night was the announcement of the new prize of the President’s Putter.
This was awarded to Barbara Horrocks and Tom Holmes, who had been the most consistent performers over three majors.
Holmes followed up his success by claiming the Golfer of the Year award.
In his acceptance speech he said that this was the pinnacle of his 15 years’ membership.
General manager Les Holmes said: “Overall this was a night to remember for all of those who attended.
“The members’ reflections of the night were all complimentary, with the catering staff being singled out for special praise.”
Competition secretary Dave Simpson added: “It was a fantastic evening enjoyed by everyone.
“Not only were we brilliantly entertained by both Adam and the table magician, but it was great to see all of our winners enjoying the fruits of their labour and collecting their well-deserved trophies.
“The evening was a great credit to everyone involved in the organising of the event.”
