ONCE again Bradley Park Golf Club are offering the chance to join and become a full member with a proper handicap for a bargain price at next week’s Open Night.
The Bradley Road club – in collaboration with Kirklees – are giving anyone the rare opportunity to take on 12 months full membership for the bargain price of £105, and with no joining fee.
Last year, the Bradley club gained 35 new members from their similar recruitment drive which is aimed more at the occasional golfer, rather than those who tend to play two or three times a week.
For those who join on Open Night, next Monday (7pm onwards) there is also the offer that the membership covers all internal competition fees.
And there is the added bonus that the first round for new members is free, courtesy of Kirklees, plus there is a free basket of balls on Bradley Park’s floodlit driving range.
On subsequent rounds green fees have to be paid (£19 at weekend, £17.50 midweek) although there are green fee deals to be had.
The Bradley Park captain and club officials will be on hand to answer queries from anyone interested in joining next Monday.
