CROSLAND HEATH’S Alan Taylor was the latest winner in the Huddersfield Wednesday Golf Society when he took the Division I honours at Outlane.
The 10-handicapper carded 38 points, to finish two clear of Meltham’s David Law, with Neil Morrison from the home club back in third spot with 35.
Marsden’s Keith Bruce was the Division II winner with an excellent return of 39 points, ahead of new member Hendrick Murray from Dewsbury.
A total of 28 players competed at Outlane and the leading scores were:
Division I: Alan Taylor (Crosland Heath) 10-38; 2 David Law (Meltham) 8-36; 3 Neil Morrison (Outlane) 14-35.
Division II: Keith Bruce (Marsden) 22-39; 2 Hendrick Murray (Dewsbury) 21-37; 3 Alan Harper (Marsden) 17-36; 4 Stuart Eastwood (Outlane) 18-36.
The next meeting is at Meltham next Wednesday.
