FOUR young golfers battle it out tonight for a place in the Halifax-Huddersfield Junior Matchplay final.
Both semi-finals are at Marsden, with the first teeing off at 5.15 between Brad Hardcastle (West End) and home-club member Ethan Shaw.
Fifteen minutes later, Jamie Smith (Halifax) takes on Danny Lyness (Saddleworth) for a place in the final at Bradley Park on September 25.
Hardcastle beat Bradley Park’s Ben Kay 2 up in the previous round, while Shaw toppled Huddersfield’s Gary Moolman 1 up.
Smith was a 7&6 winner over Jake Campbell (Crow Nest Park), while Lyness beat Josh Morton (Hanging Heaton) 1 up.
