ROCHELLE MORRIS has capped a tremendous season by being awarded the Player of the Year Trophy by Crosland Heath Golf Club’s Ladies section.
The 13-year-old has swept almost all before her this year, despite her handicap plummeting from 19 at the start of the year to just nine, with the highlight being the winning of the club’s Schofield Cup.
A student at All Saints High School, Bradley, Rochelle is coached by top junior coach and Woodsome Hall professional John Eyre. Earlier this autumn she was presented with her Yorkshire County colours after her third match in the County Championship.
And a delighted Rochelle is pictured receiving her Player of the Year Trophy at the Ladies AGM from Lady Captain Margaret Haigh.
