PHIL TATLOCK, from Outlane, has been approved by the Halifax, Huddersfield Union executive as the president-elect for 2011.
He becomes the second Outlane member in the last five years to be elected to the prestigious post, following on from Allan Woodhead’s tenure in the top post in 2007.
Mr Tatlock will take over as president from Bradley Park’s Richard Kaye in 2012.
Meanwhile, it was also unanimously approved that Meltham’s Chris Mear and the aforementioned Allan Woodhead be nominated for election as vice-presidents at the annual meeting on March 15, at Bradley Park.
