MELTHAM’S Jack Thewlis was the winner as the Wednesday Golf Society held their latest meeting at Elland.
The Society, whose next meeting is on Wednesday at Bradley Park for the President’s Prize, had 35 entries at their Elland event and they were:
Division I: 1 Jack Thewlis (Meltham) 15 handicap 34 points, 2 Roy Johnson (Meltham) 15-33, 3 David Law (Meltham) 8-32.
Division II: 1 John Sheard (Bradley Park) 16-35, 2 Raymond Peel (Outlane) 22-35, 3 Tom Freeland (Meltham) 18-34, 4 Jimmy Main (Dewsbury) 17-34, 5 Stuart Eastwood (Outlane) 18-34, 6 Dave Robinson (Bradley Park) 22-34.
