HUDDERSFIELD’S Felix Waddington is through to the National Schools Gymnastics finals.
The 12-year-old was part of a highly-successful team from Hipperholme Grammar School which competed in the regional qualifiers.
Waddington was paired with 13-year-old George Forsyth, from Northowram, and they won their section to be crowned Yorkshire champions in the Yorkshire Sports Acrobatics Championships at Brooksbank Sports College.
They will go forward to take part in the national finals at Fenton Manor in Stoke in May.
