THE Dragons Junior Girls Under 12 B team produced a strong performance in a tournament in Leeds.
They were focused and determined and took to the challenge of moving up in standard.
They battled hard to score, but managed just one goal in the five games – though that did secure a win over Wakefield.
The Dragons’ newly formed C team, which included Olivia Gill, Tegan Howard, Grace O’Hara, Emily Griffiths, Katie Jezardrick, Hannah Cooper, Milly Rayner, also performed well and they managed to gain three draws from their five matches.
Results, Under 12 B: drew 0-0 with Leeds Adel, lost 2-0 to Huddersfield A, drew 0-0 with Harrogate A, beat Wakefield C 1-0, drew with York B 0-0.
Under 12C: lost to Sheffield B 1-0; drew with Doncaster B 0-0; drew with Wakefield D 1-1; lost to Thirsk B 3-0; drew with Driffield B 0-0.
