THEY are celebrating at the Phoenix Karate Club in Lepton.
Three members fought in the WKC World Karate and Kickboxing Championships in Dublin and two of them came back with medals.
Instructor Ray McKenzie, who won a gold at last year’s championships, backed it up with another, defeating several opponents to land the veterans heavyweight kickboxing title (85kg).
His students, Kieran and Ryan Hayden, also took part and did well.
Kieran was eventually defeated in the 13-17 years lightweight kickboxing, but Ryan took a bronze in the heavyweight section of the same age group.
