PULSE Taekwondo Club, run by John Lockwood, continues to go from strength to strength, and as well as a medal haul in recent competition at Bradford, the club have also seen two new black belt qualifiers.

British Taekwondo’s technical director Master Ian Lennox was on hand during a recent grading event, when the 13-year-old Dunstan twins, Ellie Mae and Tayler, received their second and first Dans respectively.

Lockwood sent four more of his team to an Open competition in Bradford, where Olivia Harrison won gold in the Junior division, Charlotte Hirst took gold in the Cadets and Jill Harrison lifted the Veterans’ division gold medal.

The fourth member of the quartet Nicola Hirst won a bronze medal in the Junior division, which confirmed Pulse as the top WTF Taekwondo club in the area.
