MICK STOCKS broke the half-century barrier in the SMileS Huddersfield Open Snooker League this week, during the Police Sports match against Primrose Hill.
A former Huddersfield Open champion, Stocks knocked in breaks of 51 and another of 27, which he needed to nullify the massive 78 points start he was foced to concede on handicap to the Liberal Club’s Richard Sylvester.
And that helped Stocks pull off a 107-82 win, and earn a draw for Police in the Section 1A clash.
