NETHERTON racer Josh Caygill is hoping that a ‘home’ outing and some good old fashioned Yorkshire weather will bring him some better luck.

The British Superbikes season’s latest round is at North Yorkshire circuit Croft this weekend and Caygill (left) is aiming to make an impact.

After finishing in 26th place in the last round at Oulton Park Caygill is looking to work his way up the rankings in the Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport Championship and Supersport Cup.

And he feels preparation has gone well and is just hoping for some ‘helpful’ conditions.

“Everything with the team is all good and we have been training hard as always,” said Caygill, who rides for Hinckley-based MAP triumph.

“The team have been working to keep me on top of things and I can’t wait to go to Croft now!

“Let’s hope northern soil helps me out a bit – and I will be doing a rain dance.”
