DENBY DALE trials rider Jack Price has wrapped up the Class A title in the British Youth Championship.

Despite finishing in fourth at the Richmond Motor Club ACU Luscombe Suzuki Leeds Class A & B Trials meeting, Price now cannot be beaten and is Class A champion.

It was the penultimate trial in the series and Ffestiniog’s Iwan Roberts did all he could to close the gap on runaway title leader Price as he won his second Class A event of the season.

Luke Walker also did his best to cut the deficit finishing second, but Price did enough to confirm success and not have to rely on points at the final outing of the season at Bracken Rocks, Mansfield.

The Class B crown also went to a Yorkshire rider with 13-year-old rider Dan Peace, from Kirkbymoorside, winning his section to confirm the title.
