DANIEL LLOYD’S race debut in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup at Silverstone this Sunday, which will form part of the British Grand Prix support package, is to be screened live in the UK on the British Eurosport HD channel.
Those with access to digital satellite or cable television through Sky or Virgin Media will be able to follow the Huddersfield 20-year-old’s maiden appearance in the world’s premier Porsche series at 10.45 on Sunday morning.
Later in the evening, there will be a full ‘as-live’ re-run of the Porsche Supercup encounter on the standard British Eurosport 2 channel at approximately 9.45.
Marking the biggest race meeting of Lloyd’s career by far, with well over 100,000 spectators set to be in attendance on Grand Prix morning, the weekend’s action will be the culmination of a fantastic few days for the Porsche Carrera Cup GB Scholar.
Appearing at the world-famous Goodwood Festival of Speed last weekend, which attracted no fewer than 180,000 people across four days, the Huddersfield driver represented Porsche and also took part in the timed hill climb runs at the wheel of his 911 GT3 race car.
Finishing the final ‘Shoot-Out’ sixth fastest overall, an event screened live on Sky Sports 3 last Sunday, Lloyd made a massive impression on his first appearance at Lord March’s grand West Sussex estate.
