Tony Scarlett was in red hot form as Huddersfield Falcon MCC staged round three of their club championship at Pashley Green Farm near Cawthorne.

On the hard course Scarlett had an outstanding ride losing only three marks, followed next by Mark Farrer on 12 penalties.

Neil Savage took the 50/50 course win with only four marks lost, closely followed by Chris Tolson on five penalties.

The easy-route riders found the slippery course slightly harder, but again it was a close finish between Tom Shaw, on 16 marks, and Neville Painting on 19.

Aaron Goodlad, a Class B competitor, showed the other older riders how to go on, only losing 29 marks, as did Class C rider Charlie Mosley on 51.
