HOLMBRIDGE duo Amanda Crawshaw and Charlie Adams helped England to victory in Orienteering’s annual home international championships.

The event – which featured teams from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland – was held over two days in the Peak District near Sheffield and the host nation emerged victorious in both team and individual sections and took the overall title.

Crawshaw, a member of the East Pennine Orienteering Club, competed in the Women’s 35 Class and took second place.

South Yorkshire Orienteering Club member Adams was in the Men’s 45 Class and finished in third place.
