Premier Taekwondo of Birkby have big plans for this year.

Having had 33 members gain Black Belt standard during 2014 – Premier are the biggest single-site club in British Taekwondo with over 350 active members – they are also keen to build on the international representative honours achieved.

Head coach Master Mosy said: “We’re really pushing our competition team and want to challenge for team medals.

“We aim to put between 20 and 40 people through to the British Nationals and have kitted out an additional training area to improve training facilities.

“There will also be fight nights and patterns seminars and we want to develop a patterns team.”

This month, the club have booked for a seminar Master Gemma Biescas (7th Dan), who is the highest ranking UK female within British Taekwondo and has been GB National Poomsae Coach since 2008.

Master Mosy added: “It’s going to be hard work but well worth it, and we welcome anyone who wants to come and enjoy a great year with Premier Taekwondo.”
