TOP snooker sensation Judd Trump is coming to Huddersfield this summer to play a series of exhibition frames at Broad Oak Bowling Club.

Following on from the successful appearance of the ever-popular Jimmy White last year, organiser Kevin Ellis has managed to secure the talented Trump, who is the current UK champion.

And an added bonus for the event on Saturday, June 9, will also be the appearance of the world’s leading lady referee Michaela Tabb.

After enjoying such a successful 2011 acquiring the services of Trump is a terrific achievement, given the Bristol player sprang to world recognition when he won the televised UK Championship at the Barbican in York when he beat Mark Allen 10-8 in the final, to follow on from his capture of the China Open title.

And he showed just why he is tipped for even greater things when reaching the World Championship final last year, and giving John Higgins are real scare before losing to the Scot.

Trump will be playing 10 frames against local league opponents, refereed by Michaela.

Tickets are £20 and they are going fast, although Ellis still has a number left and should anyone want one, he can be contacted on kevin_ellis@live.co.uk
