SPENBOROUGH’S young swimmers produced some strong performances both at home and away.
Club member Joshua Elliott swam in the Harrogate Swimming Gala before racing back to Spenborough to take part in the team event on the same day.
Elliott impressed by winning gold in the 50m breaststroke and achieved personal best times for all his other swims.
Teammate Ealish Corkhill also swam in the same gala achieving personal best times for all her swims – reducing her 100m butterfly time by three seconds.
The club also had a number of swimmers competing in the Harrogate Childline Triathlon.
Millie and Ruby Yates, Sunny and Tyras Waterman, Shea and Finn Kerry, Daniel Howatson, Sam Robinson, Ethina Waterman all completed their races in personal best times– and all improved their swim times.
