JANET ADAMS, who plays for Kingsmith Engineering B, is now ranked No3 among the England veteran women players.
A teacher at Holmfirth High School, Janet (above) is featured strongly in the rankings published by the English Table Tennis Association this month.
She has been captain of the Yorkshire Veterans first team and will lead the squad in their defence of the presitigious county championship title.
The Huddersfield League committee report that, to date, no complaints have been received regarding bats and ‘authorised racket coverings’, but would remind everyone that any such complaints would have to be investigated.
