Tennis: Huddersfield’s Euan Wilson-Bail playing major tournament at National Tennis Centre in Roehampton

HUDDERSFIELD’S Euan Wilson-Baig is playing a major tournament at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton this weekend.

Now the No1 ranked Under 10s player in the country on the Lawn Tennis Association National Tour Leader board, the 10-year-old from Elland is coached by Andy Banks and Sean Stafford. To become No1, Euan had to qualify for and play in four National Tour events.

He was runner-up in one and won the other in Nottingham. He said: “It has been quite hard with all the travelling around and playing some really good players, but I am really excited and will try my best on Saturday and Sunday to win and bring the cup home to Yorkshire.”
