Athletics: Huddersfield sportsman Peter Dibb, 75, has enjoyed success at two recent athletic meetings.In the Yorkshire Veterans Championships, at Cleckheaton, Dibb, who runs for Longwood Harriers, won the 800m, 1,500m and 5,000m.And in the Northern Veterans Track and Field Championships, at Accrington, Dibb won the 800m and 1,500m.Also, at the Accrington meeting David Cowgill, of Holmfirth Harriers, competing in the Over 65 class, won the 800m (2min 55.5sec) and the 1,500m in 6-17.2.Cowgill’s clubmate Robert Ellis came fourth in the Over 45s 1,500m in 5-30.5.
