The University of Huddersfield will stage Yorkshire Jets’ home game against Hertfordshire Mavericks next season.

Jets head coach Anna Carter’s Superleague has also named her squad for the 2015 Superleague netball season – which includes Lindley’s Lydia Walker.

There are a number of key changes from the 2014 squad, including the addition of international mid-court player Sally Butters, from Australia, and shooter Lottysha Cato, from Grenada.

For the second year, Yorkshire player Lauren Potter will captain the side with Natalie Haythornthwaite as vice-captain.

The other players in the squad are, shooters, Nikki Smith and Brie Grierson; in mid-court, Lucy Richardson, Walker, Steph Wilson and Jess Shaw and in defence Meg Clark, Tuaine Keenan, Claire Wilshire and Bea Skingsley.

The Jets are taking their home games across Yorkshire to Hull, Leeds, Sheffield and Huddersfield for the first time – with the university hosting their match on March 2, which will be screened on Sky Sports.

The Jets’ 2015 Superleague campaign begins against Loughborough Lightning, at the EIS Sheffield on Friday January 30.
