NEW Australian signing Jack Mitchell is poised to make his Underbank Rangers Conference National debut in tomorrow’s home clash against Hemel Stags at The Cross.

With Rangers kicking-off at 4pm after the club’s winter side host Queens A in a key Pennine League Division IV clash, the club is hoping for a bumper turn-out.

And that cause will have been helped after Bank opened their new summer campaign with a solid 34-26 triumph at Kippax Knights last weekend.

The victory has put Rangers in excellent heart for their first home test of the year, with coach Richard Knight once again in a position to name a strong squad.

As well as hooker or loose-forward Mitchell, Knight has also added top trio Sam Housley, Sam Hendricks and Joe Worthington to the squad.

And with question marks hanging over the fitness of Tom Senior (dead leg) and Andy Boothroyd (shoulder), it seems certain a couple of changes will be made.

“After a solid start, we’re very keen to kick-on tomorrow,” said Knight.

Underbank: Midgley, Allette, Horn, Briggs, Aka, Barrett, Chatterton, Williams, Caroll, Dalby, Senior, Joyce, St Hilaire, Berry, Boothroyd, Geoghegan, Cummings, Housley, Hendricks, Mitchell, Worthington.
