MELTHAM All Blacks got back to winning ways with a 20-0 Division V triumph over Stainland Stags.

The home side made the perfect start with a try through Jonny Saville, who spotted a Ryan White break.

Chris Storey added try No2 and this was followed by a Ryan White effort that was converted, along with the previous try, by Gareth Atkinson.

The All Blacks’ final try was by Lewis Healey, who broke the visitors’ line to score and seal an excellent win.

St Joseph’s bowed out of the Yorkshire Cup at the first-round stage after suffering a 46-14 defeat at a strong Hull Dockers side.

The Pennine League Premier Division side were never able to get into their stride as they produced a poor performance.

Joe’s tries were scored by Joe Flaherty, Sam Coyne and Liam Donlan, with Darren Kelly kicking one of the conversions.

Centre Ben Lewis was man-of-the-match, with Jimmy Folan and Coyne also putting in good displays.
