UNDERBANK Rangers will be hoping that having last weekend off will stand them in good stead as they prepare for a big final Conference National play-off push.

The Holmfirth-based side head to fellow mid-table team Kippax Knights tomorrow knowing a win is crucial to keep them in touch with the leading pack

Kippax are in fourth place, one above Underbank but with five more points as the clubs prepare for the last six games of the season.

That shows the importance of this weekend’s clash, with Rangers desperate to collect the League points and push towards a home play-off spot.

And with a side feeling refreshed after the weekend break, coach Richard Knight’s men should be travelling with confidence.

Kippax, on the other hand, were far from impressive as they struggled to beat second-bottom Nottingham Outlaws at home last Saturday, when they needed a late try to secure a 26-22 triumph.

In the experienced Chris Redfearn, the Knights have a half-back capable of causing Bank real problems, but if they can keep him quiet, they should be victorious.
