THE Four Nations trophy will be on display at the Gillette RLHeritage Centre at the George Hotel on Saturday from midday to 4pm.

Entry to the Centre is free, but for a small donation visitors will be able to have their picture taken with the trophy, with the cash going to the RFL Benevolent Fund, who help and assist amateur and professional players seriously hurt playing rugby league.

Also on Saturday, the Kirklees RL Trust is holding a fund-raising event at the George, starting at 2.30.

Tickets for the event, which includes a three-course lunch at the hotel and a match ticket for the England v New Zealand Four Nations clash at the Galpharm Stadium (valued at £25), is available for just £30 per person.

Various raffle prizes will be up for grabs, and there will be an auction for a signed England/New Zealand split shirt. A tour of the Heritage Centre is also included.

Sales of tickets for the event are going well and the remaining tickets are available by contacting the organiser Tony Kenny on 07802 568898
