HUDDERSFIELD Sharks Under 16s celebrated an excellent 20-6 triumph over Hull side Embassy.

They made their intentions clear from the start and took the lead with a Sam Hendrick try, converted by Danny Bravo.

Embassy hit back with a converted try of their own before Kris Harrop struck to make it 10-6 at the break.

Then in the second half, further tries from Adam King and Hendrick and a second Bravo goal sealed a victory in which Duane Scott pipped Ben Mallinson for the man-of-the-match award.

There was also a great win for the Under 12s, who beat Brighouse 16-10.

Victory was achieved thanks to two tries from Oliver Hague, who shared the man-of-the-match award with fellow tryscorer Owen Restall, while Sam Kenyon also crossed for a score.

And the Under 9s followed suit with a 40-10 triumph at Brighouse.

Player of the match Rebecca Hague led the way with a hat trick of tries, with others coming from Lewis Boye, Jordi Simpson, Keenan Simpson and Ronan Costello.

Goals were added by Hague, Boye, Costello, Adam Bradbury and Jordi and Keenan Simpson.

The Most Improved Players were Caylen Lewin and Ben Parker.

Unfortunately, there was defeat for the Under 11s, beaten 36-26 at home to Queens Knights.

Tom Beaumont and Ben Leeming scored two tries each, while Michael McGowan added the other.

Leeming and Beaumont also landed goals, with Liam Doughty named the man-of-the-match.

Top driver was Luke Sutcliffe, top tackler Tyler Davies and most improved was Thomas Swift.
