DELIGHTED Huddersfield Giants coach Paul Anderson watched his side secure successive Super League victories and declared: “We need to keep improving.”
Huddersfield’s 30-20 triumph at Salford last night took the Giants back up to sixth in the table and almost certainly guaranteed a play-off spot.
That will be confirmed with a home win over Bradford Bulls a week tomorrow, with Anderson already demanding more from his players.
“It was good to get the win, but there were still a lot of areas that need to be addressed,” said Anderson.
“That was one of the first things I told the players as soon as the match was over. I suppose I may sound as if we have just lost the game, but I do know there is still a lot of work we need to do.
“I’m determined to see us produce a much better performance when it comes to facing Bradford.”
Anderson will be hoping inspirational half-back Danny Brough will have fully recovered from a dead leg injury by then. He missed out last night
“Earlier in the week we had hoped Broughy would have been okay, but the reality is he just wasn’t fit,” added the coach.
