SUPER Slaithwaite Saracens Under 16s celebrated their first victory of the season in fine style, destroying Heworth 44-0.

Tries came from Shaw (3), Worthington, Thorpe, Barber, Tindal and man-of-the-match Karolczuk. Worthington added six goals.

The in-form Under 8s remain unbeaten after beating Queensbury 38-22.

Ben Dickinson led the tryscoring with a hat trick, with others from Jamie Kelly (2), Oliver Whitaker, Dominic Kendall and Slava Kiseev.

Goals were added by Kiseev, Dickinson and Whitaker, with Jack Sharp and Kelly taking the man-of-the-match awards.

But the Under 11s suffered their first defeat of the season, going down 26-16 to Townville Tigers.

Tries were scored by top tackler Mikey Wood (2) and William Broadbent-Allen, with goals from Broadbent-Allen and Jamie Gledhill. Jack Sharp was the man-of-the-match.

The Under 10s were unlucky to lose 20-18 at Queensbury.

The visitors tries came from referee's man-of-the-match Tommy Maclaren (2) and Jack Hague, with conversions from Hague, Ryan Pickles and Alex Tait.

Saracens man-of-the-match was Niall Owen, with Connor Liversey top tackler and Niall O'Connor the top grafter.

Despite four tries from referee's man-of-the-match Daine Longmore, the Under 14s were beaten 36-20 by Huddersfield Sharks.

There were two goals from Josh O'Conner, while the coach's man-of-the-match was Connor Mullhall.

The most improved player was Rhys Beck and the top tackler was Chris Taylor-Craighan.

* Meltham All Blacks Under 10s extended their unbeaten streak to five games with 22-12 win at Brighouse.

Luke Pogson impressed again with four tries, with Elliot Currid the man-of-the-match.

Conversions were added by Pogson, Currid and Jack Parkin.

The Under 8s drew 36-36 with Wibsey.

Two tries from Christian Pestell levelled the match.

Man-of-the-match and top tackler Jordan Williams grabbed a hat trick, Christian Pestell scored twice and Jack Clifford Alex Zatorski added others.

A gritty away performance gave the Under 13s a 16-6 win at Moldgreen.

Tries came from Josh Worrall, Chris Minors and Andrew Lambert, with the top tackler and coaches player-of-the-week going to Hew Evans, while Nathan Richardson and Joshua Zatorski took best back and best forward respectively.

The Under 12s slipped to a 14-4 defeat at Ovenden.

Michael Holmes grabbed the only try and top tackler and man-of-the-match was Toby King.
