MELTHAM All Blacks ran riot at Under 10 level with a 50-10 win at home to Harehills.
Harehills arrived with only seven players but the All Blacks had 12 players so it was decided to lend the Leeds outfit players to make it a nine-a-side contest.
The first half was a fairly tight affair with the All Blacks taking a 20-10 lead thanks to tries from Dan Tinson, Harriet Fitzpatrick, Harry Jackson and Carter Hosker, with Tinson and Hosker adding goals.
Also playing well, but in the colours of Harehills, were the loaned Meltham players Joe Morrison and Max Ward with Morrison running in one of the Leeds side’s tries.
In the second half the duo reverted to playing for their own club, while Hosker and Matthew Mear joined the Harehills line-up.
The home side finished the game strongly with Fitzpatrick completing her hat trick and there were two tries for Morrison – goals were scored by Morrison, Luca Garside and Max Lawrence.
Jackson earned the top tackler award and most improved went to Matty Watmough for a great display.
