SIDDAL scored an impressive victory as they defeated National Conference League Premier Division title contenders Ince Rose Bridge 32-16.

On their own Chevinedge ground Siddal were in imperious mood in the first half and had the game sewn up by half-time as they led the second in the table Lancastrian outfit 22-0.

The three quarters led the way as Siddal registered their fourth win of the league campaign with Emmerson Newburn, Scott Caley and Marcus Williams all grabbing two tries each, while Chris Brooke also crossed the line and added four goals.

In Division Two there was no joy for Elland as they travelled to face divisional leaders East Leeds.

The table-toppers ran out 44-28 winners on their own Richmond Hill ground, but Elland made a fight of it with two tries from forward Tom Harnett, and touchdowns from Phil Taylor, Ethan Ingham and Ben Bottomley, while half back Taylor added four goals.
