GOALKICKING scrum half Danny Brough is to stay with relegated Super League club Castleford for the 2007 season.
The former Hull favourite has opted not to exercise a get-out clause in his two-year contract despite interest from other clubs, preferring to help the Tigers in their bid to win promotion from National League I.
"At the end of the season I did ideally want to stay in Super League, but I have really enjoyed my time at Cas and, although I had other options, I really wanted to stay," he said.
"I am fully committed to helping the club get back into Super League. I am glad things are all settled and am already enjoying pre-season training."
