HUDDERSFIELD Sharks Under 14s were outclassed 38-4 by a strong Sheffield Hillsborough Hawks side.

Spirited defence restricted Hawks to only three first-half tries but their stamina and skill eventually told in the second period.

Man-of-the-match Clark Laithwaite crossed for a consolation score, while Jamie Tipple impressed with his driving and tackling.

The Under 11s were defeated in cruel fashion by a talented West Bowling team.

The Sharks' creativity and flair was pleasing to see, but Bowling edged the win 22-18.

The Under 9s played out a memorable 52-52 draw with Townville.

Lewis Boye, right, was the star of the show as he touched down for five tries in an entertaining match.

The tries continued to flow for both sides and Becky Hague (2), Jordi Simpson and Dominic Sharpe, left, all crossed for Sharks.
