THE RUGBY Football League have been handed an Olympic boost.

The BBC will broadcast the Super League Show nationally throughout the duration of the London Olympics.

Rugby League and Formula 1 are the only sports selected by the BBC to be shown in addition to their Olympics coverage with the Super League Show being aired throughout the UK on BBC2 on Tuesday evenings at 11.30pm over for the duration of the games.

RFL Communications Director Niel Wood said: “It’s fantastic that the BBC recognises the appeal Rugby League has and has agreed to enhance its coverage of the sport while the London Olympics takes place.”
