Underbank will be looking to get back to winning ways when they take on Featherstone Lions at The Cross.

Tomorrow’s clash (2.30) sees Rangers aiming to bounce back after an away defeat at Skirlaugh, but there play-off credentials will again face a stiff test as sixth placed Underbank take on a Lions side two places and two points higher than them in the National Conference Division One table.

Underbank Rangers coach Richard Knight said: “ It is always a massive game against Fev, and it will be interesting at our place.

“It is all so tight at the top and, had we taken our chances at Skirlaugh last week we would not have slipped.

“The lads know they need to be sharper in attack.”

However, Underbank have suffered a major blow with Great Britain selected centre Adam Ryder breaking a shin bone and prop Michael Holmes has a shoulder injury.

“Adam is a massive blow and is out for us for the season bu we are hoping he will be back to join the GB tour,” said Knight.
