In-form back-row forward Dale Ferguson is set to return to Giants action tonight after missing the last two games.

The 25-year-old (above) has recovered from a knee injury picked up in training and has been named in the 19-man squad.

He could take the place of fellow forward Ukuma Ta’ai, who suffered a badly slip lip during Saturday’s defeat at Bradford Bulls that required plastic surgery.

As well as Ferguson, all 13 players who sat out the Bulls game are in tonight’s squad.

Wigan are still without loose forward Sean O’Loughlin and have lost centre Darrell Goulding through concussion.

Anthony Gelling deputises at centre and prop Gil Dudson returns to the side after missing last week’s defeat by Leeds with a shoulder injury.

The Giants are, of course, hoping for a bumper turn-out, with fans having until noon today to buy their discounted tickets.
