HUDDERSFIELD Giants' Junior Academy side can look forward to playing at two of rugby league's most famous venues in the next seven days.

On Sunday, the club's Under 18 team take on Castleford at Wheldon Road (1.15) in an exciting curtain-raiser to the Tigers' National League I clash against Rochdale Hornets.

Then a week later, Huddersfield play Bradford at Odsal in another curtain-raiser, this time to the Bulls v Giants Super League battle.

And Giants football manager Stuart Sheard believes this will bring the very best out of the side.

"Players always enjoy playing at big-match venues and that's what the Junior Academy boys will be doing this week," said Sheard.

"The players are in an excellent frame of mind after last week's thrilling victory over Leeds and I know they can't wait to get cracking at the Jungle on Sunday.

"It promises to be a great occasion."

The only change to the side that beat Leeds 33-32 thanks to a last-minute drop goal from Thomas Hemingway, is on the bench, with Ashley Wood coming in for Chris Donlan.

Huddersfield Giants: Cudjoe; Sutherland, Martin, George (L), Johnson; Hemingway, Mennell; Lawson, Garside, Flaherty, George (S), Dobbs, Robinson. Subs: Perry, Brooke, Gee, Wood.
