HUDDERSFIELD Giants are ready to play their first competitive fixture at the DRAM Centre tomorrow.

Coach Lee St Hilaire's Senior Academy side take on Warrington in an eagerly-awaited Championship clash (2.00).

It promises to be a high-quality encounter, with three of the Giants' Super League squad set to play.

Winger Bolu Fagborun is already confirmed in the side, with two other senior men joining him once head coach Jon Sharp has settled on his 18 to face Warrington in Sunday's Super League battle at the Galpharm.

There could also be a run-out for fellow first-team player Simon George if he passes a fitness test on the knee injury suffered in the pre-season game against Wigan at the JJB Stadium.

But there is still no Thomas Hemingway, pictured right, who has been struggling since that clash against the Warriors with a shin injury.

Fellow half-back Paul Mennell, pictured left, is back, however, after recovering from a dead leg.

But whichever side takes to the field, Giants football manager Stuart Sheard is confident the fans will take to their new Academy venue.

"We were absolutely delighted when the Moldgreen club said they would be able to accommodate us," said Sheard.

"They now have a magnificent base in the DRAM Centre, and I'm sure all our supporters will be impressed with the facilities on offer.

"There's still a bit of work needed to be done to get it up to scratch, but it's already a great venue for us to use."
